NEHBC Articles: An Animal's Place by Michael Pollan

Excellent and thought provoking essay on the morality of meat eating vs. vegetarianism. Actually convinced me that in some cases it's better to eat meat. I'm not changing my diet though ...

"I've discovered that if you're willing to make the effort, it's entirely possible to limit the meat you eat to nonindustrial animals. I'm tempted to think that we need a new dietary category, to go with the vegan and lactovegetarian and piscatorian."

MapMyRun.com -- Run. Plot. Save.

MapMyRun.com -- Run. Plot. Save.

Very useful site: not just for mapping runs - good also for mapping walks, bike rides, to calculate the mileage. If you register, you can save your routes for later use, or even 'share' them so that others can find run/walk/bike suggestions when they are in your area.
